University of Miami, Mahoney-Pearson Residence Hall, Fire Alarm Upgrade

Design of cooling fan coil units to fire alarm control panel rooms. The fan coils are connected to existing chilled water system lines.
Florida International University, FIU Parking Garage Five/Retail/ Public Safety, University Park Campus
Miami, Florida
Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection design, construction documents for a multilevel open parking garage for approximately 1,441 cars and garage support space. Included in the project 25,000 sf of retail space, classrooms, and food service retail spaces, and 9,000 sf of office space for the FIU Public Safety Department. Provisions for future expansion of Public Safety were also included. Included emergency ventilation for two enclosed air cooled chillers to avoid re-circulation.

Project included variable air volume and constant volume systems, direct digital controls to replace existing pneumatic controls and the replacement of around 200 variable air volume boxes throughout the school.
